On our trip from Iguazu to Salta, the theme of the movies being shown was being kidnapped while outside the US. The list of movies, along with a quick synopsis of the story:
Taken: Somebody's daughter is taken while on vacation and forced into the slave trade.
Man on fire: A kid is taken in Mexico City for ransom by kidnappers.
Trade: A 13-year-old girl from Mexico City is kidnapped by sex traffickers.
Human Trafficking: Young women are forced by violence into a hellish existence of brutality and prostitution
Not the list of movies I want to see while traveling outside of the US, and I'm not even a young woman... At least in the next long bus trip, we got to see "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers"!
